PROSIT
PROSIT – PROgettare in SostenibilITà: Qualification and Digitalization in the Construction Industry is a project funded by the Campania Region under the Public Call for Proposals for the Creation of Technology Platforms, which is part of the Program Agreement titled “High-Tech Clusters, Consortia, and Public-Private Laboratories for Strengthening the Scientific and Technological Potential of the Campania Region.”
PROSIT has set itself the ambitious goal of developing cutting-edge methodologies and procedures to:
- Assessment, Quantification, and Characterization of Sustainability in Construction
- Certification of Eco-Sustainable Building Solutions
- Implementation of Innovative Technologies in the Construction Industry
Areas of Focus and Partnerships
The project focuses on several key areas:
- Development of sustainable materials and solutions for the construction industry, including through the use of ID Tracking technologies
- Implementation of BIM (Building Information Modeling) methodologies for sustainable design
- Diagnosis and Energy Analysis of the Building-System Complex
- Development of Advanced Tools for Sustainable Design
TME SRL actively participated in the PROSIT project activities as a member of the TRE Consortium—Technologies for Building Restoration. The TRE Consortium, in turn, was part of a broader public-private partnership that brought together innovative companies and research institutions to promote excellence in the construction sector.
The TRE Consortium, founded in 1998, is a nonprofit public-private research organization that operates nationwide in the field of applied research in the construction sector. Its mission is to raise levels of environmental sustainability and promote technological innovation in the construction industry46.
Through its participation in PROSIT, TME SRL has helped advance the vision of a more sustainable and technologically advanced construction industry, in line with the Campania Region’s economic and environmental development goals.
