SEMEIOTIC

“SEMEIOTIC – System for Monitoring Surface Transportation Infrastructure” Project, under the former public call for proposals to support micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in Campania in the implementation of technology transfer and industrialization projects

TME has been awarded a grant from the Campania Region for a project in the surface transportation sector, focusing on “New Testing & Validation Techniques and Technologies for the verification and validation of systems and components for qualification and certification” and aspects related to “Information & Communication Security & Safety.” The technological path to be pursued falls within the scope of infrastructure monitoring and emergency management through early warning procedures for the rail and surface road sectors, as well as other modes of transportation.

The proposed solution is a system consisting of software applications and hardware devices capable of communicating with one another, analyzing data, and providing clear and concise guidance on what is about to happen, what has happened, and how to respond in the seconds following an event.

The final output is a software application integrated with hardware devices capable of “listening” to what is happening, analyzing it, and providing guidance on the actions to be taken.
